This wasn’t just another vacation—it was a chance for me to learn, connect, and grow alongside other passionate venue owners from around the country who, like me, are always looking for ways to improve the wedding experience for our couples. From the moment our bus turned onto Cedarmont Drive, I could feel the serenity of the landscape welcoming us in. Nestled on 40 private rolling acres, Cedarmont Farm is one of those Nashville wedding venues that effortlessly combines the elegance of a Southern estate with the natural beauty of Tennessee countryside- horse pasture included.

As I stepped off the tour bus, my eyes were immediately drawn to the rolling horse pastures, which hit especially close to home for me. Celestial Farms wedding venue, my own venue in Clio, Michigan, was once a family horse farm as well. Although we no longer have horses at the property, just like Cedarmont, we both retain that pastoral charm that horse lovers are drawn to and appreciate. It’s such a meaningful nod to the property’s roots—and I loved seeing how Cedarmont kept that legacy alive as we did at Celestial Farms.

Even though there are no horses currently on the grounds, Cedarmont Farm can absolutely accommodate couples who want to incorporate horses into their wedding day like we can at our wedding venue. This brought to mind the incredible service we offer at Celestial Farms through Jackie and Joe’s Pet Attendant Services. They’ve helped couples bring everything from dogs to horses to Michigan weddings, ensuring each animal is thoughtfully cared for with love, experience and professionalism. It’s heartwarming to know that Cedarmont shares that same flexible, client-centered philosophy on pets.

The lawn surrounding the wedding venue was perfectly manicured and blooming, but it was the climate-controlled reception area that really caught my attention. Spacious, bright, and modern without feeling cold, it offered an elegant blank canvas that could accommodate a wide variety of wedding styles and decor.

As someone who works in weddings I can tell you: versatility like this is gold. No matter the weather or aesthetic preferences, couples at Cedarmont have options—and that’s something we provide at Celestial Farms as well.

What I’m Taking Back to Celestial Farms

I left Cedarmont Farm feeling inspired and recharged. I was reminded of why I do what I do and how a well-run wedding venue can have such a profound impact on a couple’s wedding journey. Our trip wasn’t just about seeing a beautiful place. It was about sharing ideas, exchanging stories, learning from each other's mistakes and finding new ways to serve our clients with excellence.

At Celestial Farms, we’re always evolving—and this trip was another turning point in our journey. I walked away from Nashville with so many fresh ideas that I’ll be implementing into our wedding planning process, including some upgrades to our day-of coordinating services, vendor partnerships, and communication timelines. Our goal has always been to provide couples with a stress-free, one-of-a-kind wedding experience from start to finish—and after visiting Cedarmont Farm, I’m even more committed to making that dream a reality.
